Being the leader, JOHNSON LIFTS initiated process and started working with Director of technical education (DOTE) and college to integrate a syllabus for Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering for industry based education which ensure individual to acquire industry skill and opportunity for employment. Undertaking focused approach, Johnson Lifts Introduced Industry based Elective Subject on Vertical Transportation System in DEE stream at one of the leading institution PACR polytechnic College at rural location of Rajapalayam in Tamilnadu with the preapproval of Directorate of Technical Education.

The overall process was initiated as PACR College Team visit to Johnson Lifts in November 2017, post which JOHNSON LIFT steam visit to College in June 2018 for understanding of infrastructure and faculty teams, also to analyse the location for lab facilities and TWO independent complete lift shafts.Upon understanding and required approvals JOHNSON LIFTS Signed MOU in June 2018 and established the complete lab facilities and lift shafts in October 2018.

The total expenditure of 45 lakhs was towards establishing the equipment and miniature modules and special unit machines and controllers, maintenance set up with required mechanical and electrical tools and safety items for laboratory. In ensuring hands on experience of lifts components two lift shafts were built and complete lift materials were supplied to institution for the course. The complete set ups as required for the course not only helps student and institution but larger benefit to this rural Society, College.  It will ensure opportunity for passing student to get placement and employment in various Organizations.

The complete lab and lift shafts established by JOHNSON LIFTS in record time was inaugurated on 3rd Dec 2018 in a grand manner with the presence of Ramco Group Chairman, Johnson lift’s Director , Executive Director , HR – GM,  SHE – DGM , College Principle, College HODs etc. PACR institution along with JOHNSON LIFTS ensured process of communication in the institution for this IBE Course and individuals require to appear for written test, upon successful evaluation they are selected for this special course. All selected candidates are guided to a prospecting carrier path on successful completion of course.

Our integrated micro level set up to ensure quality hands on theoretical and technical knowledge ensuring individuals upon passing are ready for employments. The First batch of twenty students with IBE course started in December 2018.The entire course man hours as approved by DOTE for theoretical, practical are scheduled and adhered on regular integrated schedules of JOHNSON LIFTS faculties.

All the sessions are reviewed on periodical intervals, both theory and practical sessions are evaluated by means of regular assignments, unit completion test and model test prior to FINAL exams. Team of twenty students on successful completion of diploma course with IBE, are being employed in JOHNSON LIFTS after an interview process.

Johnson Lifts Launches “WATCH” an IOT Based Smart Service Technology

 

Johnson Lifts introduces WATCH – an IoT-based wireless software device that senses, monitors, and alerts. WATCH (Wireless Assessment to Troubleshoot Channelize & Host) is wireless software that connects your lifts to the data center through the IoT device in the lift|elevator. This new technology will enable real-time monitoring of lifts| elevators, sense and alert a team of highly skilled technicians to provide immediate assistance to customers and also maintain a trouble-free performance of lift|elevator thereby improving its reliability.

 

A vast amount of essential data is collected through the sensors installed in all the vital components of the lift. The behavior and condition of the lifts|elevators are continuously monitored and effectively measured thereby improving equipment performance and predicting possible defects and breakdowns.

The major benefit of this technology is to analyze predictively the wear and tear of crucial components for timely replacement thereby improving the lift performance, also breakdown, Passenger Trap real-time alerts are sent to the Johnson Lifts’ service technician to immediately attend and analyze and ensure quick response.

In efficient troubleshooting, the data are transmitted to the server via the internet and the same will be displayed in the dashboard. All the data are stored in the server with time stamps so that the data history can be used for referral purposes in the future. The IoT ecosystem consists of web-enabled smart devices that use embedded systems like sensors or communication hardware to collect, send, or act on any data that they acquire from the environment. The devices do most of the work without any human intervention, although people can interact with the devices to give instructions or access the data.

Mega Job Fair by Government of Tamil Nadu

Johnson Lifts participated in a Mega Job Fair organized by Labour  Welfare & Skill Development Department (Government of Tamil Nadu) on 15th October 2022  at New College. Chennai.  Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nādu and Honorable Ministers visited the job fair and  issued offer letters to some of the candidates.

Students of ITI and Diploma Trades across Tamil Nadu participated and approximately 50 plus students were selected by the  Johnson Lifts’ Team.

July Job Drive

Johnson Lifts conducted campus interviews at various cities as part of their annual job drive proposition. These campus interviews were held at Poly Technic and ITI Institutes in Chennai,  Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Over 200+ Students of Electrical, Fitter and Wireman in ITI and Diploma Trades background participated and were selected. The selected candidates will be joining as trainees and placed in Johnson Lifts. Wishing all the young talents a great start at Johnson Lifts.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

Twenty Diploma Candidates were selected from P.A.C. Ramasamy Raja Polytechnic College from the campus interview conducted on 6th July 2022 as per the special Lift Technology program.  Earlier in Feb 2022 a course titled ‘Vertical Transportation System’ was conducted to the final year students pursing EEE. These students were exposed to real technology and industry experts training.  The students were interviewed and shortlisted and now placed in various branches PAN India. We wish the candidates a great future in Johnson Lifts.
